I am a new user and very confused. For some reason ther is a file Application
compatibility folderin the taskbar ( this at the bottom next to start)when I
click on it to try to get rid of it, this is where the problem begins. I
click on it and and a Microsoft window appears and says unable to load
graphis conversion file and ask me if I want to continue with this document
conversion. When I select No, another window comes up titled word pad and
tells me an unexpected error occured while readingc/documents/application
compatibilityguidefor XP5P2/appcompatxp5p2.doc. When I click on ok, another
window appears titled Microsoft word 97 conversion, it states its unable to
load conversion filterthe it ask me do i want to continue, I select no and
the next window is word pad and it tells me about an unexpected error. Can
someone please help me. I tried to re boot to get rid of it and it will not
go away. I have no idea what the heck this is and what it means. PLEASE
PLEASE HELP.

Liz, this a guide to SP2 updates package and you didn't mention what
operating System you are using (i.e XP Home, XP pro, 2000, Me.) and what
happen if you click ok and continue.
As you have Office 97 installed on whatever OS I can't tell what is the
problem.
