Applet in a Windows mail message causes Mail crash.

I posted the below question some time ago but didn't receive a reply/hint.
This is a 'biggie' for me, so I'm re-posting.

THANKS!

Anytime I receive an OE type stationery which has an applet, my Windows Mail
closes.
I understand there is a fix, but I can't find it.
Thanks for any help........ I love my OE type stationery in Windows Mail!

I have the same problem with the "Data Execution Prevention" which apparently
can't be changed in mail program. I finally had to make a message rule, and
if the subject says Applets, it is automatically deleted. I would love to
know if there is a safe fix for this problem.
