I'm running Vista 32 bit with IE7. Recently when I try to type
anything in the address bar, the program crashes. I've deleted
history, temp files, cookies, disabled all addons, made sure I have
the latest updates.

on the Command Prompt and choose "Run as administrator".
Type in: SFC /SCANNOW and press your Enter key.
