Apache Derby and C#

I want to acccess to a Derby database through .NET and C#.

I have been looking for information about that but I didn't find
anything. Could someone give me some idea? how can I start? Is it possible?

It is possible but not easy.

Derby uses the same wire protocol as DB2, so you can use
DB2 ODBC driver.
