Hi,
I have deleted aol from my computer the buddie messenger
and have been looking through my C drive and have found
AOD pertaining to AOL what I would like to know is this,
can I delete this whole thing off my computer without
causing any problems with my system?
Thank you for your time
Bonnie

You should be able to uninstall AOL in Add/Remove programs in control panel.
I don't know what AOD is - typo? Don't just delete folders in the program
files folder until you've uninstalled the software that uses them.

Yep - it's called formatting and reinstalling.

Lanwench(great nick BTW!),

Thank you for providing some constructive assistance to an AOL user instead of
the usual arrogant, "get a real ISP", or ya' gotta' reformat your HD to get rid
of that Sh**.

;-) Well, I am no AOL fan in general (although it's very good for my elderly
auntie), but as the OP was already discussing removing it, it would've been
a bit redundant to rant, no?

There is no reason to even answer a question about AOL. It does not
say "AOL help" in this group's name does it?

No, but AOL is installed on Windows in this case, and the person is asking
how to uininstall it from Windows. It doesn't hurt anyone to help out if
they want. They can ignore the question if they prefer not to answer it.
