AOL IMAP & VISTA 64 ERRORS WITH WINDOWS MAIL

That's my error. It has been happening on my wifes account forever she just
stopped using windows mail and logs in at aol.com. mine worked for months now
I am getting this same error. we run kasperkey anti virus (however its
spelled) the full purchased version no bootlegs. any suggestions would be
greatly appreciated. need more details let me know I can copy and paste
whatever you need to know.

Is your AntiVirus scanning your email? If it is, uninstall the email
scanning components and see if the problem persists.

In addition to what Hal suggested, you should delete that account,
restart Windows Mail, then recreate the account. It is likely that
your antivirus corrupted the account.

As a minimum, email scanning in the antivirus must be turned off,
although that may not be sufficient to eliminate all bad effects.
In a worst case scenario, your antivirus may need to be uninstalled
if you want to keep using Windows Mail.

Instead of uninstalling your antivirus, consider upgrading to Windows
Live Mail, because it is less prone to suffering bad effects from overly
intrusive antivirus programs: http://get.live.com/wlmail/overview

Email scanning in any antivirus must be disabled, for reasons

My emails disappear where are they going ? After I open them they disappear.
