I had 8.0 on my computer with xp and it crashed it was
well. I activated driver verifier and it everytime I
logged onto aol the computer would crash and indacted it
was an aol driver problem. I have sinced uninstalled aol
on that computer and run 6.0 on a different machine. I
have heard of others having driver problems with aol 8.0
and xp.
You wouldn't recognize a clue if it bit you on the a**. Please stop wasting
bandwidth with nasty inane evidence that you can't help the OP solve her
problem.

why is AOL evil? It actually is a good program for new people and those not
too computer savvy. While it is a bit simplistic for the advanced user, it
has outstanding content and parental controls for people that don't do this
for a living. Plus, if AOL is evil, how is Microsoft different? At least AOL
works, which is more than MSN8 can say....
