I am using Windows 2000 Professional just for myself at home. I want to
access my CD-RW disc to save some Word documents. I am getting “You do not
have access to the folder D:\. See your administrator for access to this
folder.â€

Can you please help bearing in mind I am new to Win2000Pro (have been using
Windows 98 before).

Your access to your CD-RW drive depends on the burner
program you use. What did you install? Nero?

If you have Nero then you also have the option of installing In-CD.
In-CD lets you format a CD-RW CD so that you can treat it as
if it was a floppy disk, allowing you to copy files to it with Windows
Explorer.

Without In-CD, you must use the Nero interface to burn files to
your CD. I recommend you read the Nero help files.
