Anyone knows about this wierd issue?

I have XP Home edition. When I login and type certain characters (example
"i") the system actually shows another character that I supposedly typed --
example "5"! So, I can not write anything since what I type is NOT what shows
on word or any other application! I have to re-booth the system and then
everything is OK!! It happens everytime. Any idea what to do? Thanks. Koz
 
Hey, m8 just fixed my prob. We had the same prob. We've pressed "num Lk" on
top right of keyboard. Just press it again, and it's fixed!
