Anyone know what this file is?

A few days ago, when trying to reboot my system, Explorer.exe would not shut
down. Apparently a file called 0 was causing it to hang. I had to power down
the hard way. I did a search for 0 (zero), and came up with 3 copies of a
file called 0.log. I opened one of them with Notepad, and found them empty.
They have no size according to Explorer (Not 0KB, but no size.). Viewing
them also caused Explorer to hang, and I had to use Task Manager to kill
Explorer, then start it up again. They are in the following directories:

C:\
C:\Documents and Settings|MyName\Recent
My Computer

Can anyone tell me what these files are, and what they do?

My Recent Documents is C:\Documents and Settings\Your Name\Recent

You can customize the Start menu by adding a folder called My Recent
Documents that contains the files you opened most recently.

0.log is probably in C:\WINDOWS. The Recent folder just contains shortcuts.

I have no idea what 0.log is, I deleted the contens a long time ago and
don't remember. If I had to guess, the name comes from the size. ;-)
