Anyone know what this error message means?

Hi, we just installed windows xp professional on our dell computers
that had been running windows me. When we are online we get the
following error message and the computer restarts:

"Remote procedure Call (RPS) service terminated unexpectedly NT
Authority/System"

If anyone can help, we'd appreciate it,

Hello Joe,
I believe this message is indicative of one of the latest viruses. Do you have a virus protection installed and running. You can check McAfee website for more info.

*Latest virus*? MSBlaster would sometimes show this symptom, and it was
created well over 6 months ago.
