Anyone know if this is really free

I was looking around the Windows Market Place Web site

http://www.windowsmarketplace.com/results.aspx?bCatId=2&av=24-166256

On the top right side of the description it says Free. Is this true? If
not. Then what's the catch? Sorry if I sound a little niave, but from
past happenings I just don't trust everything I see on the internet. Maybe
someone here would know for sure. On page four there is a Chess Game
(Valentin Iliescu Chess) that I would like to try, but alas. I am
reluctant to download it.

Thanks for your help.

for this situation Google is your friend. As the name is very
unique, the first result leads to programs real homepage:

Yes, it's free.

Hello,

just forgotten to say that I hate software archives that are afraid
to publish homepage links, and I cannot find any link expect CNET
download (where at least a link to publisher can be found). I have
not tried before, but this "marketplace" is horrible.
It's Microsoft :-(

What kind of programs are you looking for, as this chess game is
for PocketPC, Smartphone and desktop?

Thorsten

Thanks for the reply Thorsten.

My son gave me his old desktop with Windows Xp. I used to have 98SE so
am having difficulty learning the XP. I would like a decent chess game,
some productivity, and security stuff. I find that quite a few of my old
98SE stuff just will not work on XP. The Xp has a NTFS hard drive, and I
put a small fat 32 hard drive on it. Stange when I boot with the 98SE
EBD it doesn't reconize the NTFS hard drive.

Thanks again for your reply.
