Anybody tried Avant Browser?

I've heardd about Avant Browser -- apparently it uses Internet
Explorer, but adds extra features. I'm using XP Home. Is it safe for
me to try the Avant Browser? Will it muck up my IE 6?
Any comments -- good bad or otherwise, about its features?

I've not used it. But a frequent question is "how do I set IE as the default browser, as I want to revert to IE". In such case, read the help page of the respective software if there is a feature to restore IE as the default. (MyIE2 has).
