It's been talked about on the Avant forums, but no fix as of yet. I'm
on an old version.

I've seen this as well. It's related to a stuck pop-up. Simply exiting and
restarting Avant should correct the problem.

I found with version 10, Outlook Express wouldn't remember my password.
Although it was only a small annoyance, it was enough to make me look around
at other browsers. I am now happily using Firefox. Unfortunately I just
can't get used to Thunderbird.

I don't use Outlook Express and it's bad practice to have any application
remember your password. In any case it may be related to the clear records
options on Avant.
