Anybody have a printer driver for an HP 3100se?

I can't believe HP's site charges for the drivers! I just upgraded from Win
Me to Win 2000 and now I can't use my printer until I get the disk!

I tried driverguide.com but the link to the driver causes an error.

Do you have the original CD that came with the printer, and does it have W2k
drivers on it? It probably does.

If HP doesn't have the drivers available for individual download (which they
often don't for multifunction devices as they use bundled "suites", usually
*quite* large), you'll need to order another copy of the CD from them. I'm
not sure that just having the driver alone would help you much with one of
these anyway.

you may have to purchase the cd from HP

but wow...i wonder if they are starting a new and terrible trend

From there (a shortcut to HP.com's site) you can download the official
drivers for 3100se for Win2k

....no drivers are available from there - just updates/patches, OCR software,
& fonts. I did look before I posted. ;-)
