any way to hack xp home to use in a corporate environment?

I know this is probably the wrong place to be posting this question ;-) but
I have a couple of users who bought laptops outside of the company and wish
to use their laptops at the office. The main problem is that they cannot
get into the domain with their laptops. They have to VPN to the office from
the office in order to get any kind of domain authentication (which is a
real pain and slows down their wireless connections a great deal). So any
good schemes that others have used that gets around this for xp home users?

We understand that he's looking for a workaround. Unfortunately, there
isn't one. He'll have to upgrade those laptops to XP Pro.
