Any way to extract a graphic file from an OLE Field?

Hello,

I have some graphics in a table in an OLE field. These graphics were input
many years ago and still work on the forms they are presented on but when
trying to double click on the field I get the "OLE Server isn't registered"
error.

Is there any way to extract these files even though the OLE link is broken?
I tried using a blob writer but that didn't work. I don't have the source
images and I'm trying to change direction on the way these images are
handled, but need the images in the table. If I can't find a way to extract
these images, we will have to be stuck with the same slow image handling
that already exists.

Thanks Gunny, that's exactly what I needed. It didn't extract in full
resolution, but at least the images have been extracted, so that's a start!

You're welcome. Have you tried re-installing the original graphics application
to see if that helps any?

Rico the tool extracts exactly what is embedded in the field. Are you using
the latest version of the ExtractINventory OLE tool?
