Any way to back out of a deleted hotfix?

I think I may already know the unfortunate answer to this one, but I'll try
anyway...

I installed hotfix KB912945, an ActiveX update that caused me to have to use
<ENTER> or the spacebar to get into some web functions. Unfortunately, I
inadvertently deleted the file that would have allowed me to back it out. Is
there any way to get rid of this "update" that's now driving me nuts with its
constant popups?

I tried re-installing the hotfix in hopes of enabling a backout, but no joy.

Thanks for any help!

Simply open add/remove programs, chk the box at the top "show updates",
remove the hotfix.

Thanks very much for the suggestion, Roberto. It worked!! :)

That really surprised hell out of me because it's never solved any problems when
I've tried it in the past.
