Not as hard with an extended Google search and just wading through
resulting forums. Elsewhere. Even if not specific to the appliance,
there will be transferences between similarly made appliances. I may
have saved myself a bunch of grief by checking out unflattering
contractor opinions on an Asian invented, flapperless toilet refill
system I bought from Home Depot, and switching at the last moment to
install the model with a conventional center-rise refill and tank cut-
off float.

Before Google's steady effect or contribution to deterioration on the
Usenet, there once was a time it could be a place where helpful
insight could be found. A search now is like being overridden into a

Any famous web-based forum on that topic?

What, from somebody like me, using Google to access usenet, even
though I've a completely extant usenet FEED off my (smaller offshoot)
ISP and just couldn't be bothered with a mailreader. . .bad enough to
attempt to Google through usenet, worse when shaking my head after
hearing what the NY Attorney General has actually done to usenet;-
and, as much as I like anarchy and off-color replies, it's all, still,
pretty much overrated. I'd rather not provide information on myself
over the internet, register, deceive and jump through hoops, with that
anywhere else for the privilege of being protected by moderator
facilities;- I really get a kick out of these merchants that expect
me, in all fairness of course, to attach my review to their websites
for their product and self-promotion, less so, I suppose, when I know
goddamn well they'll turn around and sell any information they can
gather on me to spam-based advertising interests. Oh, well. Life
goes on and my email spam collector is deadly.

I suspect I may be oldest living bargain-hunting, bottom-surfing, cut-
throat pricing entity on the internet;- for all I know around a decade
with the same credentials, and as old a retinue of diehard advertising
spam-headers everyday intact in my email filter's kill box.

forums: FixItNow.com and ApplianceAid.com. Also try
ApplianceJunk.com for some free repair manuals, but don't rule out
Sears.com (even for non-Sears appliances), which has parts lists and
exploded diagrams.

No, do worry about keeping your email address private. I was far too
free and easy with a previous email address. In the end I would average
200 emails a day, 99% of which was spam.
