Any patch for all Windows games?

Hi, during a routine disk cleanup I accidentally deleted the entire bundle of
games that come with Windows XP. I don't really miss Internet Backgammon,
but I would at least like to have back Solitaire, Minesweeper and Hearts.

Is there any way to download just the games bundle, or do I have to
reinstall Windows? And further, would reinstalling Windows jeapordize the
customized changes I've made?

Thanks in advance,
Marchron

Hello.

Go to Add/Remove Programs in Control Panel - then click on Add/Remove
Windows Components, go to Accessories and Utilities and recheck Games and
ok/next out. You may need your Windows CD for it to copy the original files
back.

That just gets me the "Internet" games back: Backgammon, Checkers, Hearts,
Reversi, and Spades.

I haven't restarted my computer, though. If that doesn't work, then I'm
going to have to unearth my Windows CD. If I can find it.

Thanks for your help.

You get all the others also. Just try this:

Uncheck Games and click OK/Next to get out.

Then, return and recheck Games and Ok/Next out.
