I have had the 2600n for a couple of months now using it in my motorhome. I
bought it because it was the smallest color laser I could find and the price
is right. I also wanted a laser printer because I have had inkjet cartridges
and print heads dry out when I don't use them regularly.
I expect the cartridges to last me a couple of years of my low usage. After
that I will buy a new printer since a set of toner costs more than a whole
new printer.
I consider the quality of the output excellent for my purposes. Sometime I
would like to compare the output to other competing low cost color laser
printers.
What is the paper tray like on that? I couldn't tell on the one I
looked at in the store and I couldn't find pictures that showed it on
the web. Is it something that flips out of the front or back or is
there a drawer? Would this work well in a location where access to the
rear of the printer was awkward?
The price is very cheap but it dose not provide PCL6 or PostScript.
would rather use HP CLJ 2550L to print image and photography. I
additional, please check the toner cartridge capacity of 2600n

Same 600dpi printer’s engine, same 2400dpi output quality, the printe
supported by PCL5 or PostScript is possible to enhance more gray leve
and sharpness (resolution) for photographic printing. It is dedicate
to image description. GDI printing language is for text description
If it is possible, you may compare the printing quality between 250
and 2550 or Konica Minolta 2300 with 2350.
Do you find the toner capacity is cut 50%? How about the cost? Is i
cheap than 2550 or the other type based on equal 2,000 or 4,00
sheets
