Any ideas on automatic.......

To be specific -
I get a table of figures every couple of weeks in a .csv
file. I have to take this info and copy/paste most of it
into a spreadsheet thats holding the same info, just
formatted differently (the way some boss wants it)
How can I automate the movement of the data?
For info, the CSV file that I get always has the same
name. After copying the updates over, I rename my target
XLS file with a version number change.

Any ideas are appreciated, or just general guidance

Dear Tim
The easiest way to automate the process would be to record
a macro using the macro recorder within Excel. Once the
recording is in process, follow all the steps that you
would normally, and then stop recording when complete.
