Any Idea what file is msCMTsrvc?

[Mine]

Anyone has any idea what this file, msCMTsrvc does? I
installed a new firewall in my computer. The firewall
reported that msCMTsrvc was seeking access to web. Since
it has "ms" at the beginning of its name I assumed that
it is a Microsoft windows file so I asked it to allow it
access to the web. Later on I went and search for the
file (msCMTsrvc), looked at its property and but it said
absolutely nothing to suggest that it came from MS. I
searched MS KB and was not able to find that file so I
went back to my firewall program and ask it to block
access to that file.
I will appreciate any help in identifying where this file
comes from.

Here is text copied from Compaq's webite in regards to the file
msCMTSrvc.exe:

"An error may occur stating that "msCMTSrvc.exe is attempting to access the
internet" when the computer is connected to the Internet. msCMTSrvc.exe is
an application that was installed on the computer by Compaq called the
Content Monitoring Tool Service (CMTS). The Compaq Offer Zone, displayed on
the desktop as the Hot Deals icon, uses the CMTS to update the computer when
new merchandise is available for purchase by the user."

Muchas Gracias. Yes, my computer is from Compaq and it
did come with a lot of trash loaded. In effect this is
has nothing to do with the well being of running my
computer. Hopefully I can go into Add/Remove Program and
can that Hot Deals trash (if I can find it).
