Hello

I am looking for a good programming book for Access 97 to SQL Server 2000
(not conversion) but connecting trouble shooting and proggramming.

thank you.

I don't think you'll find any books specifically about Access 97 and SQL
Server 2000. By the time SQL Server 2000 was released, Access 2000 had
already been released and no-one was writing new Access 97 books any more.

While not specifically about Access 97 and SQL Server 2000, I think you
would find 'Microsoft Access Developer's Guide to SQL Server', by Andy Baron
and Mary Chipman, of interest. See the following URL ...

http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/06...1946/ref=pd_bbs_1/104-6570287-3501511?ie=UTF8

Access 97 sucks balls.

Use a newer version of office-- and use 'Access Data Projects'

if you stick with the piece of crap that mdb is; then use a lot of sql
passthrough queries; and tighten the filters as much as you can.
