I have a panda antivirus which does work but it did let in a(
w32/bagel.av.worm )which really gave me some problems Now I've fixed
everything that it messed up and I was wondering if the avg 6.0 was any
better than the one I have???

Panda is Free? Where? The only "free" version I know of is the online scan.
And if the OP got the w32/bagel.av.worm then I would suspect that his version
of Panda is not updating properly as it's in the current Panda virus
database. I've got Panda Titaniun 2004 installed and it normally updates
every day, sometimes more and has never let anything nasty through. But as
they say there ae as many opinions on AVs as there are products, you use the
one you're happy with.

"> Spend some $$$$$$$$
Both Panda and AVG have a pretty crappy record look for yourself"

Sorry, but I disagree about spending $$$ for a good AV. I used to have
Symantec, and I updated it CONSTANTLY - but I still got viruses on a regular
basis!!! [At least once a week!] Although the viruses were quarantined and
did no damage, I got sick of it - and I now use AVG 7.0. I haven't had any
virus problems since!

No hammering intended ; ) Just statin' the facts.
