I have installed microsoft anti-spyware,and ran it just a
few minutes ago. Results: no cookies !!!
I then ran 'Spyhunter',and they show 7 COOKIES!!
I will type them out to prove this :
Servedby,
Atdmt,
Doubleclick,
Hitbox,

Am I wrong in assuming that 'Anti-spyware' can and should
discover these cookies,or not ???

Never assume anything.

The beta builds of Microsoft Antispyware released so far do not scan for
cookies. The tracks eraser, will, however, erase ALL of them if you so
desire....

This feature "is under consideration for a future [beta] release."

Repeat after me. Cookies are not spyware...

Cookies can be used to store information, but THEY ARE
NOT INSTALLED PROGRAMS. We need to leave the cookies
thing behind. We have far worse problems with Keyloggers,
Root Kits and Activity monitors than any simple stupid
text file ever created.
