My AntiSpyware has expired??? We have not reached 12/31/2005 yet. If I click
ok, it does not open the anitspyware if I go to the Microsoft site it does
not tell me what to do to get updted and get using the program again. I see
nowhere to download a newer version.

You have a non-default setting for your date format.

Go to control panel.
Date, Time, Language, and regional options
Regional and Language options
Next to your chosen laguage, click customize
click the date tab
click the drop down controls for long and short date formats and reset each
to the topmost choice which I believe to be the default.

Click OK to record your choices.

This should eliminate the expiration message.

You may want to do the same for the time format, but this is less crucial.
If you choose a 24 hour time format, you won't be able to schedule scans for
afternoon times.

Hey your directions were good but I appear to have more problems not relating
to that issue. I cannot get the contol pannel to open. Wen I go to
start/control pannel my computer does some funny stuff and then my little
microsoft security alert tells me I have no firewall active. I just
installed a new firewall that I don't understand very well but it appears to
shut it down. In any case, my dad helped me with the date problem so I do
have the Antispyware running again.

Thanks, Chica
