Anti Virus & Anti Spyware

Grateful for your advice.

I currently run Sophos Small Business AV software and use XP ED SP2's
Firewall. Once set up, Sophos needs little attention and appears to give
excellent protection.

Grateful if you could advise whether it is also effective against spy and ad
ware? If not, is it possible to also run Spybot and Adaware alongside
Sophos?

Many thanks

Jerry

A multi-layered approach is best.
You should get a router with a firewall.
Windows Firewall blocks incoming only, you need blocking of in and
outbound traffic.I use the firewall from Sygate-works well.
I have never used Sophos but I have read it is very good.I'm sure Spybot
and AdAware will run fine.
