Anti Spyware Beta 1

I have downloaded and installed Anti Spyware Beta 1. Ran
it 5 times but still it won't
delete "SearchMiracle.EliteBar Browser Plug-in " which has
hijacked my internet explorer How can this be deleted
without reformatting

Hi Kizmo

I have seen MS Antispy remove elite bar but it took 2
scans in safe mode to fully remove it.(Reboot and keep
tapping F8 then choose safe mode from the list) Download
the elitebar remover while your in normal mode and try
them both in safe mode

**Note this does need to be run in safe mode


if you have problems let me know as there is afew way to
kill elitebar.

hi,

its not enough to fight spy and adware with only one
program. You have to run different programs to get rid of
yr problems.
First try to scan yr PC with following programs: Ad-Aware
SE personal, Spybot SD Resident you can find them on
http://www.download.com/Adware-Removal-Tools/3150-8022_4-
0.html?tag=txt
Also try this malware and trojanremover from
www.simplysup.com/tremover/
I hope you get some luck with these programs otherwise
there is always hijackthis.log files to fix problems but
first try the above sofware to remove ad and spyware
