ms anti spyware

I have been running ms anti spyware for a couple of
months now, no problems detected. I used to use ad-aware
6.0 before that, and yesterday decided to check my system
with it - 45 items found which I deleted. This morning,
it found 10 more items, which ms anti spyware did not. I
do auto updates and daily checks with ms anti spyware.
Any ideas how to get it to work better, or properly? It
is the beta version still.

Hi

Ad-aware 6.0 is outdated, get the new version SE Personal

MSAS do not detect tracking cookies or dataminer in Beta 1.
Neither in Beta2 or final I believe so get Lavasofts Adaware SE for
extra manual scans.

I downloaded and installed MS Beta1 yesterday and updated
definitions. I then ran it and it found 1 item.

So this a.m. I downloaded and ran Ad-Aware and it found
244 items!!!!!!!!

First of all - you can help this application to find what is missed in the
future just by sending Suspected Spyware Report to the SpyNet (just go to
the Tools menu).

Then - this is just Beta 1 and for now it does not look for cookies and
data miners as other apps do (but Beta 2 maybe will).
