Hi all. I am with a school board at a school K-12. We are running windows 98 and server 2000. There is an interface on the workstations called school connect from IBM. Here is my issue....We updated the server with the new shell so that we can run WinXP on the workstations. Group policies and roaming profiles were put on and activated on the server and nothing was SUPPOSE to happen to ant workstation not running winXP. Well that is not true,because now when users logon to network they hang or do not get their proper desktops. Applications freeze on them when they are trying to run them. I do not know what more to look for because the workstation have clean images and we have disabled the roaming profiles and group policies but we are still fewbarred ....any ideas

In AD have you got the WIN98 machines in a separate OU than the 2K machines?
