Another warning about the Vista Upgrade

Did anyone read the warning that after the upgrade all your menu shortcuts
would be gone?

Well, I sure didn't see that, it really is time comsuming rebuilding your
Menu shortcuts when you are constantly fight with the OS for permission even
when you are the administrator, running the software as the administrator
with full rights, the OS still fights with me about permissions. I would
swear someone designed this after watching TRON and based it on the MASTER
CONTROL PROGRAM.

Come on, give a guy a break, just how many hoops do I have to jump through
to gain FULL control of the OS? Or am I just an unwilling passanger on this
train wreck about to happen?

Note that your icons don't say My Computer or My Documents any more.
Tell you something?

Want to control your computer? If so, the *last* thing you want is
Vista. Check out Ubuntu at http://www.ubuntu.com/ if you want an
operating system that puts YOU in charge. Not only that, it's free,
comes with access to over 23,000 free programs and is bullet proof
compared to Windows regarding viruses and malware.

You do realize that MS purposefully designed UAC to piss off Vista's End
Users, right?

Why use an such an OS?

The bottom line here is that you don't seem to know what you are doing with
Vista. I don't have the problems that you are talking about.

Maybe you need this?
