Another Vista article in the press

your logic is incorrect.

The possitive people know that vista needs much work to become a good OS and
is not currectly in that state.

the negative people say go around in newsgroups declaring that vista is
perfect and
every one else is stupid

So positive does not mean saying yes to everything... that is negative..
real positive is having a deep understanding in what is good or not, and
making choices... or trying to change the course of things.

My general guide goes like this:

if you are getting a new pc, get vista
if you have an older but very fast pc get vista
if your pc is slower then you are better off with XP, so dont upgrade unless
you get the retail so you can transfer it to a new pc

What sort of anti-MS trolling is that supposed to be?

That's what anyone with any sense would suggest, however pro-vista they are.
The benefits of Vista are not enough for the average user to bother
upgrading. They should just wait until the next time they get a new PC.

There are many positive articles. The one I linked to had a good balance and
was not just a cheerleader promoting Microsoft. I was merely trying to
inject a little bit of balance. Not many people regularly post links to
articles with a balanced point of view. Many people who for some reason or
another dislike Microsoft feel duty bound to post links to every negative
article they can find. It's a very strange mindset that I cannot understand.
For me very little in life is black and white but shades of gray. With some
people it's just black and white.

I'm guessing you never read or only skimmed the article I linked to. It
agrees in part with what you are saying. Here's a quote:

"The notion that any person can give a one-size-fits-all recommendation for
such a complex product is amusing, to say the least."

I also disagree with your statement:

"The possitive people know that vista needs much work to become a good OS
and is not currectly in that state."

Of course there will be bug fixes and service packs but as it is being
shipped Vista is a good OS. For general purpose computing use it is better
than any other current OS in my opinion.
