ANOTHER Halo Problem!

Ok, whenever I start the level 'The Silent Cartographer',
Halo minimizes and a message comes up titled 'Exception!'
with a message saying 'Gathering exception data'. After
about two minutes, it closes and an error message stating
that 'Halo has encountered an unexpected problem and
needs to close' (you know, the message saying you should
tell microsoft about this problem and you have the option
to either just close the program or tell microsoft about
this problem), so I can't play 'The Silent Cartographer'
(one of my favorite lavels too...). I NEED HELP WITH THIS!

This happens while 'The Silent Cartographer' is loading.

What graphics card and driver are you using, Ryan? Have you looked in
Control Panel/Administrative Tools/Event Viewer/Application (left panel) to
see if there are errors listed in the right panel? That may give a clue to
what is happening.

I am using an NVIDIA GeForce 4 MX 440 with 64MB and I
cannot access 'Control Panel' right now because my start
bar does not appear any more (posted a topic about that
in 'Setup & Deployment').

Ouch, Ryan. It sounds almost like you've got the Swen virus on that
machine. Weird errors result from that infection. I would check it ASAP.
If that's not what it is, you could have a memory module going bad, too.

Ok, What exactly is the Swen virus? What does it do? How
do I fix it? Would Norton AntiVirus help?
