Another DST Issue

Okay, my PC at home has Windows XP-SP2 and I am using Outlook XP. At work I
am using Windows XP-SP2 with Outlook 2003 with an Exchange Server. I am
synching my calendar at home to the calendar at work using my IPAQ PPC 2002.
The issue I have is that if I fix my DST on my work computer, synch with the
IPAQ and then synch at home, the meetings during the new DST period are off.
If I fix them at home, re-synch with the IPAQ and then synch at work, the
work appointments are off.

I seem to be caught in this endless loop. What updates should I have
installed on each computer to get things back in synch? Also, if I use the
TimeZone Move tool from Microsoft, am I supposed to pick the "Eastern Time
(Updated)" time zone as what I am switching to or do I just select the
"Update to reflect Windows time zones"?

I am currently in the Eastern Time Zone.

Thanks,
Merg

was the tz updated installed on both computers and the ppc?

see http://www.slipstick.com/emo/2007/up070104.htm#tz for how to check the
computers. the tz ion the ppc may not matter as long as it's just carrying
appointments back and forth - if you create any on it those will be goofy on
either computer.

choose the (updated) TZ.

I'll check when I get home, but I think so. I'll post back with the results.

Thanks,

Well, I musta messed up with tz update on my work PC. For some reason it
still had me as Eastern Time instead of Eastern Time (Updated). Once I made
that change, everything worked out fine.

Thanks for the help.
