Another Device or program

I keep getting a error message( Another device is using the program) I am
trying to capture a video from a VCR. I know of no other device that my
Adaptec card is using. Help
 
See the Analog Video Capture page of my site for similar posts.... the issue
is probably that your Adaptec card is one that captures video files as
MPEG-2 and Movie Maker doesn't work with such files.

You would need to capture with other software and then convert the file into
an AVI for use in MM2.
