this one pops up from internet explorer and asks if I want to send a
message to IE so I do this time. I comes back telling me that the
problem is with the ie toolbar. So I follow through but it doesn't
work. It asks you to remove the old toolbar and there isn't any in the
add/delete option in the control panel. So I can't finish with
whatever it is it wants me to do and the message keeps popping up and
it's annoying. It doesn't disconnect me from the internet or anything.
What is it?

There are two things you can try.

1st. Run BHO Demon and remove any browser helper objects. You can get it
here. http://www.definitivesolutions.com/bhodemon.htm

Next, use the Add or Remove in the Control Panel to uninstall IE. To do
this, open "Add or Remove Programs", select "Add/Remove Windows Components".
Un-select Internet Explorer and follow the prompts. After rebooting, go
back into "Add or Remove Programs" and re-select Internet explorer. This
will usually repair/replace any missing files.

Hope this helps.

Thanks, I'll try that. Do you know why this happens?

Thanks again.

You haven't given us enough information in a clear, concise way to get
focused troubleshooting. It can be very hard for a non-technical person
to know what to include in a post to a tech support newsgroup. Here is
a link that will help you with that - http://www.dts-l.org/goodpost.htm

In the meantime, go through these malware removal steps systematically:

This is what the pop-up says:

Internet Explorer has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are
sorry for the inconvenience.

If you were in the middle of something the information you were working
on might be lost.

Please tell us about this problem. We have created an error report
that you can send to help us improve Internet Explorer. We will treat
this report as confidential and anonymous.

That's when I click on send and it tells me I must uninstall the ms
toolbar. It never works.

Do the above.
