After I publish my website in FP 2003 and then click on the status item at
the bottom of the page
(View your Remote Web site), IE opens but with a blank window! If I then
type in the URL or click on a shortcut link in IE I established, all is
well. It goes to the site. But not directly from FP. Kind of annoying.

Does anyone know a fix for this? Using Win XP Home with SP2 (but it's been
doing this for some time).

Thanks.

What URL appears in the browser's address bar after you
click View your Remote Web site?

What's the correct URL?

Sorry about the double posting. That was an error (obviously).
The URL that shows up is the correct one when I hover the mouse over the
View your Remote Web site in FP.
But when I click on it, IE opens with a blank page. There is no URL showing
in IE's address bar.

Hi Peter:
Have you recently installed Office 2003 SP-1? If so, did this behavior start
around that time?

Weird one. These are a long shots but here are some ideas.

o Try Ctrl+clicking View your Remote Web.
o Make sure your site is classified as Trusted Site in IE.
o Disable any pop-up blockers you may have.

Ok. Thanks.
Kind of strange though, because I don't have any trouble publishing to that
site!

Sorry, I guess my memory isn't as foolproof as yours!
Actually, I'd appreciate some solutions to the problem, if you can offer
any.

Hi Peter:
I'm afraid we don't have a solution - yet. This problem has just been
reported recently by 2 or 3 people in this group - we are trying to find out
what those users have in common - or not - to determine what change(s) to
their system may have caused this problem.

Kathleen -

Thanks. Could you keep my e-mail handy in case you find a solution.

I don't have an unusual system (don't do games).
