Annoying Spam Pop Ups

I'm going to try this yet AGAIN! This is the third time
I've tried to find out something about the pop-ups this
man is talking about. Shortly after I posted, (which
didn't show up!) a response by "Bruce Chambers"
appeared. It said that Service Package 1 for XP would
stop it. I downloaded it and installed it. Guess
what??? It doesn't work!!! GGGRRRR

Will someone from MSN please respond with a valid answer???

I've never said that Service Pack 1 would stop messenger service
spam. I always recommend installing a firewall.
