Annoying popup windows near system tray

Every time I log on I get a warning of a change in browser
settings with several pop up windows. Any way to stop
these warning windows that I already know I have changed
the settings???

If you go to Tools, advanced tools, browser hijack (settings??)--and set the
appropriate URL into the several places that a default home page can go,
does that fix it?

The other way is to turn off that checkpoint. It is an Application
checkpoint, called Internet Explorer URL. If you turn it off, you will no
longer be protected against code which changes the URL without notice to
you.
