Annoying Pop-up blocking

I seem to have an irritating problem where pop-ups are being blocked
when I don't want them to. (To be precise, clicking 'Download English
print version' from http://www.nokia.com/nokia/0,6771,28019,00.html
does nothing).

I have to right-click on the link and then select 'Open in New Window',
and then it works as expected.

I've uninstalled MS Spyware, disabled Norton completely, and turned off
the popup blocker in IE6. All MS patches have been applied.

Can anyone throw any light on this annoying problem please?

Thanks,

Paul.

You didn't wait long enough for it to download.

Sadly Kurt, it's not that simple. Nothing happens at all.

Regards,

Paul.

Well then you got something else wrong. I had three pop-up blockers ON,
and was able to view the document after it was completely downloaded,
but it opened up in the same browser window, not as a popup window.

I have those problems all day long, but have become accustomed to it.
xpsp2 with IE popup blocker set at max and MS anti-spy & acrobat7 free
and god knows what other MS updated security protecting things.

its a Java link... normally to get around popup blocker Shift/Click,
if that doesn't work Ctrl/Click .. and that's what worked on that file.

This might sound real rudimentary, but have you deleted temporary
internet files & cookies lately?

Well, I hadn't Steve, but I have now, and there's no change alas.

Regards,

Paul.

Shift+Click, Ctrl+Click, and even CTRL+Shift+Click doesn't do anything.

Even though I can het around this by right clicking and opening a new
window, I'd love to know what's causing this.

Thanks.

Paul.
