Is there a way to get rid of the message that shows up when I go on line? I
would like to keep the icon on the task bar but do not want the little
message to keep coming up. I also keep getting a message when i start the
computer telling me that my icons are grouped. How can I get rid of this
message?

Hmm.. At first I thought you meant popups.. Then I thought you meant
balloons.. Now I have no idea what you mean.. So:

If you mean advertisements:

Advice on Popups and their elimination:

or

You may want to look over the whole page.

If you mean balloons:

First, get TWEAKUI, install it, run it (it will be under Powertoys for
Windows XP" on your start menu) and go through ALL the settings, I think you
will find it EASY to make your OS look like (and somewhat act like) previous
operating systems :

(Although TweakUI handles all of that too..)

So I made a mistake describing the message. If he doesn't know what I mean
then he should mind his business. At least someone was willing to help me.
This guy is more than a jerk, but I cannot use the words that I would like
to use.
