annoying bubbles and info boxes

Can someone please tell me how to get rid of those annoying bubbles telling
me about unused icons (I use them all) and memory (I have nothing to remove
and would fill it with music anyway). I want to rid this OS of useless
bubbles, not memory or icons. Please include if you can get rid of the info
boxes that constantly pop up when the cursor is passed infront of a menu,
such as a list of music. It invariably covers up what I want to see with
information I can see elsewhere.
I can goto Hack&mod, but will try M$ experts first. Thanks.

My favorite method to disable balloon tips can be found on this page:

http://www.kellys-korner-xp.com/xp_tweaks.htm

The name of the .reg file is disableall.reg. It can be found on the left
hand side, number 11: "Disable All."

Try Power Toy's Tweak UI from Microsoft:http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/downloads/powertoys/xppowertoys.mspx
Install, run and under 'General' you will find check boxes to enable/disable
some of these bubbles.

TweakUI is a very useful tool and is relatively safe for most users as they
don't need to use the registry editor or other less obvious methods to make
changes to Windows.

Some annoying bubbles I used to see were from hovering or moving my
cursor over underlined words in WWW pages that were really links to
advertisements. Is that some of what you are seeing? That is really
annoying.

I think the best solution for these is to (if you're not) start using
the free Firefox browser with the Adblock Add-on installed and
properly configured. No more underlines, no more of at least those
kind of bubbles... Haven't seen them in a long, long time. I don't
use Internet Explorer unless I have to.

Some of the other bubbles you might want to pay attention to and
figure them out, then make them go away by fixing the problem, use
Tweak UI or maybe Kelly's .reg file. Some might have a "don't show
this message again" option.
