Annoying macros that only work once in Word

I like to use Macros on my toolbar to quickly access different Word
documents. This is great when you are currently set to look at the folder
location that file is stored in so the first time you do the macro it works
great. But as you go to different folders during the day, the next time you
click on that button, it can't find the document to which it relates. When
you go into debug the macro doesn't record the path for the document to be
found under, just the document name. Is there any way round this? It's so
annoying!

modify the macro so that it includes the path as well as the name of the
document.

I'd love to do that Doug but I haven't got a clue what code to put in!!! (I
do think that if you go to the trouble of including the keystrokes to
manually select the path you want first, the macro should actually record
them so you don't have to do it manually). Any clue/instructions you can give
on what the exact 'wording' would need to be for me to type into the macro
editor - I can copy what I'm told to put in but have no visual basic or
anything like that to fall back on. I am in your hands sir!!!! Thank you so
much.
