annoying balloon msg in icon tray

Hello,

every time I return to my computer, I always get this annoying message found
at in icon tray, with a little yellow triangle sign, saying:

"there's an IP address conflict with another system on the network"

What seems to be the problem? I have no network here at this computer.

Your help is greatly appreciated.

The problem is in settings for your network connection. If you have two
network cards in your computer try to make sure that they do not use same
settings.

That is to my knowledge...

I only have 1 network card (ethernet).
