Annoying Add/Remove Programs Problem

Well, a while back i was trying to uninstall an anti-virus program called
Panda Platinum 2005 Internet Security (a trial version) and i was having a
real lot of trouble trying to uninstall it and get rid of it because of
errors and so i just left it there and didn't use it or worry about it...
until one day i got a trial version of Mcafee Internet Security and one
feature in the program was a thing called a shredder which destroys files
completely, gone for good. So... i used the shredder on the core files of the
Panda Platinum Interent Security and it worked but i tried to delete them
normally first but an error message would appear and whatever i tried i just
couldn't get rid of it and then finally this deleted it YAY!!! BUT... the
program is still in my Add/Remove Programs list and if i try to uninstall it
works fine and says that the program has been uninstalled successfully but
the program still remains in the list, how do i remove it from that list???
Help with this problem would be very much appreciated

Hi Ryan.
You could get the Windows Installer Clean Up utility from the Microsoft web
site. That should let you clean up broken installations. Perhaps read up on
it first?
