Add/Remove Programs

I looked at my Control Panel and all the entries in there are not the ones
that were originally there. This happened shortly after I uninstalled Yahoo.
It does not give the size of the program, not is there a remove button I can
click to remove them. I tried the registry, but they are not listed there. I
even did a search for the programs and came up empty. How do I get rid of
them? Thanks for any help.

Hello,

Go to Start => Run and type in "regedit" {without the quotes}
Navigate to:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall
\<Program Name here>

Some don't have a recognizable name, just a long series of letters and
numbers, but look in the right-hand pane at DisplayName.

In the right-hand pane:

Check if these values exist, and if so,

Double-click on 'NoRemove' and set its value to 0
Double-click on 'NoModify' and set its value to 0

If NoRemove is set to 1, the Remove button will be unavailable
If NoModify is set to 1, the Change button will be unavailable

I already tried that and the programs are not listed. The only one there is
Belarc, which I installed 2 days ago. Nothing else is there.

In the future, NEVER download/install any third party browser
toolbars/etc.
