Carlos,
Could you use crossposting instead of multiposting when posting these
announcements in several newsgroups?

It was my first thought, as well. However he did it in a very nice way, he
took not more than 3 crosspostings in a time, not a kind of spamming
announcement, however showing he has express chosen the newsgroups.

However this is not a kind of disapproving of your message. For me are this
kind of messages as well helping newbie's how to behave in a newsgroup to
get the best answers.

Just my opinion,

I agree, it was not spam, the newsgroups were correctly chosen and the
message is useful, but IMO it is much better to cross-post in, say, 9 groups
(if they are relevant) that 3 times in 3 groups each time. In the first case
you will see it only once while in the second case you see it 3 times. You
get more exposure, but you can annoy some people whose attention you are
trying to get for your product...

Kind regards,

these announcements in several newsgroups?

Sure thing. The only reason I've posted it three times is because a
single post announcement for the previous version partially didn't go
through. I assumed that past certain number of n/groups on a single
message, messages are filtered out as spam, hence three separate
messages this time.

I'll give it a shot as one messages next time.
