animation doesn't work after hyperlink

[why???? via OfficeKB.com]

I have custom animations in my presentation, they work fine. However, if I go
to other slide (and/or presentation file) via hyperlink buttons, after coming
back to the original presentation then all the custom animations don't work
anymore.
Any idea why?

Hi,

This is by design. Insert a blank slide before the one you want animations
to work on, set its transition time to zero, transition automatically and
hyperlink to that slide.
