Animation created in the USA doesn't work in UK

I created sides with custom animation using PowerPoint on computer in the USA
but when I tried to display on computers in the UK the animation doesn't
work. Has happened to several Co-workers also. PowerPoint 2003 used on USA
and UK computers.
 
What's different about the animations?

On the UK systems, try going to Tools|Options|Edit and make sure nothing's
selected under the "disable new items" section.
